Evans was supposed to fight Quinton "B.A. Baracus" Jackson at UFC 107, but The A-Team nixed that idea, so Silva was selected as his replacement, and makes for a very interesting fight that has some serious implications for the 205-pound division.
Both fighters are looking to get another opportunity to stand across the cage from Lyoto Machida and avenge their 2009 losses to the Light Heavyweight champion. The winner gets one step closer, while the loser gets a one way ticket to The Island of Gatekeeper, where a life of being good, but not quite good enough awaits.
